Common uptrack to BBQ and down into Seattle Creek. Hung around the headwall for most of the day. The cornice between Seattle Creek Headwall and Big Chief is huge! Don’t trust the existing tracks that ride over it!  [ Read More ]

Started from the highway at 11:30am. High cloud ceiling with sun poking through, lightly snowing, balmy. Down low the ski penetration less than 1 inch. The skinner through the woods was pretty slick. Probed 260 cm at 800 ft elevation, and noted glopping in meadows and ridge line. Pretty significant snow pack change at 1300  [ Read More ]
