Route & General Observations

Started from the highway at 11:30am. High cloud ceiling with sun poking through, lightly snowing, balmy. Down low the ski penetration less than 1 inch. The skinner through the woods was pretty slick. Probed 260 cm at 800 ft elevation, and noted glopping in meadows and ridge line.

Pretty significant snow pack change at 1300 ft elevation – 8 inch ski penetration and excellent skiing. Noted rollerballs. Probed 290 cm at 2300 ft elevation. No shooting cracks or whumpfing. Back at the highway at 4:00pm.
