No snow down low, but it is slowly getting deeper up high!

Keep doing your snow dances!! Although there is little snow at the Turnagain Pass road elevation, it has been snowing quite a bit in the upper elevations! Make sure to check the daily advisory if you are headed out in search of the white stuff.

Heightened Avalanche Conditions expected for Christmas Week

As Christmas Break and the Holiday Season begin, stay tuned to the avalanche conditions on the daily advisory! We had one very close call with a skier buried in an avalanche on December 17th (skier is uninjured). This was due to an unstable snowpack. Unfortunately, the nature of this particular instability is expected to persist into the Holidays. More details on the advisory page.

Advisories issued 5 days a week until Christmas week

We will be issuing advisories 5 days a week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday) until Christmas week when we will begin with 7 day a week advisories. Keep doing your snow dance!!
