Please join the Friends of the Chugach National Forest Avalanche Information Center and Alaska Avalanche School at Taproot for an “Alaskan Formal” night at 7pm on February 27th. We’ve got Hot Club of Nunaka and Rabbit Creek Ramblers to tickle your ears, Taproot apps for your belly, and Midnight Sun brew for your mind. In addition to door prizes and swag for sale, we’ll also have our Annual Raffle.
So, come on out and support avalanche information and education! The 7-9pm session is $40, includes two beers and light fare, and will feature Hot Club of Nunaka. On a budget? Pre-game with some ramen and High Life at home, then show up at 9pm with $10, and catch Rabbit Creek Ramblers. You’ll still be eligible for door prizes, and can gloat in person when you win the Annual Raffle.
