Snowmachined up Skookum glacier in search of good snow. No joy! Turned around at the bottom of the Skookum glacier headwall up track. Natural avalanche to the lookers left of the up track. Numerous natural slides observed in the same elevation band and higher.  [ Read More ]

Visibility was poor. Lots of new snow. Road was narrow, but just wide enough for two way traffic. We couldn’t confirm any avalanche activity due to poor visibility.  [ Read More ]

Entered skookum valley just after 5 pm and the south wall entrance of valley on its north face had a crown all the way across it. Must have been over a mile long. Looked like all storm snow but it ran to the valley floor.  [ Read More ]
