Snowmachined out to Spencer and Skookum Glaciers. Dozens, if not hundreds, of people out enjoying the sunshine and fast travel conditions on the firm crust.
Calm to light northerly wind. Temps in the single digits in the morning rising to mid 30's in the afternoon.
A stout, supportable melt-freeze crust is making for exceptional travel conditions for fat bikers. The crust disappears around 2100'. Above 2100' the surface is extremely variable and wind effected.
No formal pits dug. Upper two feet of snow at 2300' on Skookum Glacier appeared to be extremely dense, wind packed snow.
