Welcome to fall 2012! We hope everyone has had a great summer. Look for advisories to begin early November.

Snow has already fallen at all elevations. This looks to be welcoming in what is forecast to be a weak El Nino winter season. What does that mean for us? The climate gurus say we can expect a higher chance of warmer than average temperatures over the winter but as far as how much precipitation we will get, there are equal chances of either being above or below average (a roll of the dice).
