Notch cat track to ~2000 ft, about treeline above the hut, skied back along the cat track. Snow surface generally very ‘pasted in’ moist storm snow.  [ Read More ]

Toured up the cat track to the powder hut, then continued up the ridge before transitioning and skiing down.  [ Read More ]

I observed the slide and subsequent powder blast from the road to the crow pass trailhead . It was nearing dark with poor visablity so I could not make out the location of the starting zone but the slide came down the most prominent avalanche path and appeared to cross crow creek.  [ Read More ]
