Route & General Observations

Skinned up from Basher TH. Snow surface was soft until above tree line with wind effect on the north side when gaining the Wolverine ridge. Mix of wind slab, soft snow, and sastrugi when skinning the ridge, but the Wolverine gully contained soft snow, with no obvious signs of instability.

Two crown lines were evident up high in the gullies on the north side of Rusty’s. With the low light, difficult to tell how old the slides were but one of them had run down to the valley.
