Clear skies and no wind from sunrise until about 11:45 when the clouds rolled in, visibility went flat and the wind started to pick up.
Toured from Basher trailhead to the base of the Wolverine Bowl at ~3,200ft. I wanted to see if the graupel that fell near the airport on Tuesday also fell in the mountains and might become a new weak layer. The good news is I did not find any graupel in many hand pits I dug along the route. The bad news is here was not enough base in the alpine under the new snow to make turns fun, so I turned around. There was an OK base under the new snow below ~3,000ft in the alder and hemlock zone. The skiing is better lower.
No red flags. I found 20-35cm / 8-14″ of low density fluffy snow over the old hard base below treeline, or over bare ground in the alpine. No slab formation at all yet. I did not dig into the old snow.

20-35 very light new snow
