Exploratory tour across Canyon Creek up Wilson South. Widespread wind effect in the Summit area.

Whumphing experienced on wind slabs while skinning the lookers left ridge up Wilson South.

Snowpack

Dug a pit at ~2350’ W facing slope. Snow surface had visible wind effect. ECTP 3 down 25cm on Facets. Slab was new consolidated snow, 4F to 1F. Weak layer sitting on light crust. Weak layer easily identified in shovel test showing low stability.
