Observed debris from an avalanche that happened at 9:15am this morning from Williwaw Campground. There was a loud boom from the mountain above then the avalanche could be heard running for several minutes. Valley fog made it difficult to observe during the actual avalanche. The picture was taken 20 minutes after the avalanche.

Sounded like an ice fall or cornice break initially with a very loud boom at the start then the noise of a lot of snow moving down the mountain side. It sounded far up on the mountain when it started and moved for a long time. Unknown if the picture captured all of it with the poor visibility. It appears in the picture that it might continue around the slope on the right hand side of the picture.
