One skier and one rider were traveling down the the edge of the ridge of Widowmaker. Before they could ski down the face, at the edge of the roll, they reported that the wind slab spiderwebed under their feet but were able to hold on the the bed surface as the entire slope of Widowmaker propagated below them. They were approximately the 5th and 6th people to ski the face. Crown was as much as chin high at points.
