Triggered remotely by snowmachiner from around 100 ft. away. Crown face was around 200 ft.
above rider and 6 to 8 ft. deep and ran approx. 200 ft. long. Debris ran out approx. 300 yds. down 30
degree angle slope. Conditions were yesterday’s deep, wet snow frozen overnight then wind
slabbed.
This terrain was accessed from Snug Harbor, elevation was 3200 ft. and aspect was NW on the south side of a east west running canyon, V-Max. No one was caught as I triggered it from the adjoining ridge as I was turning out.
