Got into upper virgin creek basin Feb-10, winded snow throughout drainage. Wavy pow in the lowers. Active transport started around noon on the ridge lines.

Observed a 1-day old? natural cornice failure which triggered D2-ish size slide. Refrigerator size chunks in debris field. Most likely occurred Feb 9 during wind event. Dusting of snow on debris field observed midday Feb 10. SS-NC-R3-D2
