Route & General Observations
Cornice break – without fall – at the top of Resort Bowl. On ridge that is on Northwest side of the Seattle Ck headwall and South of Big Chief. We came up and over to the ridge. As I was turning to go back down the hill there was a big hole that opened up and dipped the sled to the left side. I jumped off and landed on “land”. Sled was in the cornice with the skis thankfully being wedges on a rock.
