Observation: Chugach State Park

Long tour in CSP from Bird to Ship creek over Archangel pass. Valley bottoms were generally powder on top of supportable crust. Higher elevations had a lot of wind scoured down to the rain crust. Some pockets of hollow wind slabs were found. Lots of signs of prior hard slab but smallish avalanches from the warm spell. Steep terrain looked to scoured with pockets of wind slabs.
