Some photos of Turnagain Pass today during clear skies after 18″ of snow fell the day before with some wind effect. Only avalanches noted were two small natural slabs on SE face of Seattle Ridge and one natural slab on the smaller north ridge of Wolverine.

Spoke to a couple groups who ventured into 1st Bowl (Main Bowl) on the backside of Seattle Ridge and no recent avalanches seen by them today.

Three avalanches seen today. Two small natural slabs on SE face of Seattle Ridge and one natural slab on the smaller north ridge of Wolverine.

Observer Comments

Winds picked up from the northwest today. These seemed to split around Turnagain Pass, but plumes were seen down toward Summit Lake and in Portage Valley.
