Route & General Observations

Flagging/large plumes of blowing snow observed along Turnagain Arm, Seattle Creek, Placer Valley, Johnson Pass, Lynx Creek and Summit Lake. Plumes were also seen along Seattle Ridge, but the East side of the road (non-motorized) seem to be protected from the winds, at least untilĀ 4:30pm. Spoke with a group of skiers who went up Sunburst and also reported mild winds and no blowing snow. Looking at the Sunburst Wx station NW winds were averaging around 9mph most of the afternoon and started picking up at 5pm.
