Tincan regular route to treeline, two tree runs.

Observer Comments

Shooting cracks near treeline elevation in wind affected snow.
Two small positive ski tests on steep rolls, with "slub" character.
Three D1-D1.5 Wind Slab avalanches observed (guessing they happened last night or early this am) off Seattle ridge sunnyside, top/cross loaded gullies.

Weather

Sunny. February sun! Temps in the teens.
Moderate South to West winds with flagging throughout all visible peaks and ridgelines. Calm wind by around noon.

Snow surface

Cold dry stellar's where non-wind affected. Fist plus hard Fragmented precip particles where wind affected.
Ski pen ~50cm.

Snowpack

One pit dug at 2,100' NW aspect, HS 270cm.
ECTN11 down 65cm.
Facet layer of main concern down 100cm with no failure however all my pits from last 4 days of travel in Turnagain Pass and Girdwood valley were all ECTP22-25. Facet layer not to be trusted.
