Headed up main skin track and headed left onto the trees. Did a snow test at 1873′

When skinning across a steep slope there was a layer cracking about 20-25 cm down underfoot. No shooting cracks

No wind to note. Temp was 16 degrees Fahrenheit

Cold Loose sluff.

Snowpack

Snow pit test on a 35.6 degree slope. New snow failed and slid 4th elbow tap. Found another weak layer 45cm down, failed first shoulder tap.
