Storm laps in Tincan trees to look at the amount of recent snow and to see any recent avalanche activity.
Skies cleared around noon and we had good visibility to Tincan common. No avalanche activity up in the alpine by 1pm.
We did observe small D1 sluffs from yesterday or within the storm below treeline. The new snow was starting to get more cohesive after little bit of sun, we noticed few fresh D1 storm slabs in the trees.
Some cracking on last lap, no whumpfs.

Lots of new snow! Good quality skiing, but almost too much snow to make turns in the terrain that was available on High danger day. Not complaining.....
We dug a pit at treeline. 4'/120cm of storm snow from the Thanksgiving storms.
We did not do formal tests, as we were too lazy to set up for PST for basal facets or BSH.
Got a view of Seattle Ridge at 1pm. Noticed wind scouring at the south end but not at the north end. Wondering if this is Taylor Pass wind tunnel effect. Valley fog below still.
