There were some loose snow activity at the top of Tincan common and on the northerly chutes of Sunburst.
Overcast sky.
Intermittent light rain.
Light winds in the lower elevations, light winds from SE with gusts of moderate at treeline.
Temperatures above freezing ~mid30s.
No snow at lower elevation.
1700' to 2100' we were hiking on continuous snow cover of 2-10cm of wet grains.
Starting @ 2000' the surface had been frozen and the top 3-5 cm is harder than the rest of the pack.
Definitely more snow at the higher elevation, but we did not go beyond the weather station.
