Route & General Observations

We toured from the Tincan lot with the intent of skiing the lower shoulder of the south aspect of Tincan. We dug a pit before our first run. The pit was located at about 2500′ elevation on a south aspect. Average snow height in are was around 230 cm. We conducted an ECT test, with ECTN12 @ 35 CM from the surface (a small fracture of the block with no propagation). We continued the test and did not see any propagation or failure. We skied multiple laps on this aspect throughout the day with no red flags noted. Vis was terrible, snow was fantastic.
