The usual glide crack forming on Tincan's Southwest aspect at treeline. See photos

Weather

Calm winds. Temps in mid-20's at Tincan parking lot. Broken skies, >50% covered. Occasional snow flurries.

Snow surface

Soft smooth snow in trees and sheltered areas. Wind crust above treeline and thin sun crust on solar aspects.

Snowpack

Dug two pits:
1: elevation: 2000' aspect: 320 deg. HS: 45cm
fist hardness (dry powder)
2: elev: 2400' aspect: 340 deg. HS: 45cm
fist hardness (dry powder); ice crystals/crust forming at ground/snow interface.
