Route & General Observations

Standard up track and ridge to Tincan Proper, hoping to find cold snow in proper’s north couloir. Dug pit at couloir entrance to assess known bsh layer. N aspect, 3700ft. Failure 50cm down on bsh layer with surprising energy (ectp13). It was an easy decision to back off and egress down the ridge.
