Observation: Turnagain

Skied the North Col on Tincan proper. Super Cold. Wind 5-10 mph average. Top to the entrance was loaded nicely with powder over old windslab. Hand pits show weak snow buried under the windslab as reported. Only failure was on the loose packed powder top 6-10 in. Ski cut the top twice hard with no movement other then dry slough. Skiers right was decent loaded powder. Lots of wind effect. Lower 1/3 amazing powder. No sign of instability.
