Skier Triggered. Soft slab. 1-2.5 feet deep. Approx 30 feet at fullest width. Approx 15 feet at ski cut. Broke at ski cut, not above. Ran over cliffs and funneled into gulley. Did not come back into site. Therefore thought to not have ran very far. Slope was not skied.
Mostly sunny. No to light wind. Moderate temps.
Stellar. Unconsolidated.
Hand pits showed various depths of surface hoar 1-2 feet deep. Easy to moderate results. Surface hoar ranged to approx 1”. Bed surface was soft to medium. Slight wind texture at ridge top. Snow near ridgeline thought to be slightly stiffened from last nights winds.
