Route & General Observations

Normal uptrack for Tincan Common Bowl.
33°F parking lot & 27°F after 2,000 ft. with wind from the SE below 5 mph.
Wind loading from SE consistent up to Tincan Common topout 3,100 ft.
Heavy wind loading from the NW after 3,100 with 3-10 wide cornices leading towards Tincan Proper.

260cm snowpack depth at 2,200 ft beside APU weather station
320 cm snowpack depth at 3,240 ft.

-Windloading from SE up to 3,000 ft, and heavy corniced, windloaded ridges above 3,100 ft from the NW.
-Cornice debris above Tincan Common Bowl

Started my pit at 12pm, Elevation 3,240 ft.
Overcast skies
<5 mph winds

320 cm total snowpack depth
SSW aspect
Dug and observed down to 60 cm above base (Pit depth 260)

Hardness: Monday nights snowfall created a fist hardness until 20cm down (see photo)
MLK buried surface hoar 45 cm down. No tests performed
Melt freeze crust 240 cm down. melt-freeze grains in photo
