Climbed to the top of common bowl via center ridge with Alaska avalanche school class.

Weather

Sky was broken and obscured throught most of the day with L wind gusting to ~15 from the SE transporting snow at ridge line. s-1 showers

Snow surface

Breakable crust to treeline 1500-2000,~. Heavy new snow turning to great powder in the alpine. Wind was moving and effecting snow in the alpine

Snowpack

Dug 200 cm down. Nw aspect. 2800'. 35* slope. Hs at location 420cm. Ectp 1 RP~20 cm down. Density change in wind effected snow see photo. We also observed a 20' shooting crack at this location. Right side up snowpack transitioning from one finger to fist hard at the top of the pack. No notable layers other then the density change near the surface. Observed active loading.
