Route & General Observations

Some roller balls below tree line later in the day due to significant warming. Snow below tree line
became very wet due to warming weather as we worked our way back to the car. Will be very hard if
the weather cools. Snow tests depicted in attached photos were on westerly aspects at tree line.

10cm new snow atop solidified new snow. Crust found at 75-80cm. Fist, 4 and single finger penetration tests visible in photo. Probe increments are 5 cm  

CT results showed non-propagating failure at new snow (10cm)after 10 elbow strikes. No failure at crust layer 80cm deep. We were only able to get separation by stoping and pulling on the test column.
