Weather

Valley Fog to ~2,000 ft all day
Calm wind. Light NE wind at 2,000 ft.
Clear skies above valley fog
11 degrees F at 1400pm

Snow surface

Widespread surface hoar (6-12mm) sitting on a 1cm thin rain crust.
Future nasty setup!??

Snowpack

See attached pit for Tincan at 1,900 ft NW aspect.
Center ridge pits at 1,200 ft W aspect had 1 pit with ECTP27 on Christmas Eve buried surface hoar. 4 other pits had ECTX and no other significant results.
