Observation: Turnagain

Skied a lap from Tincan common into the common bowl early for our first run – a
steeper section skier’s left of the now pretty well covered glide crack.

Skied a couple laps on the north facing slopes opposite the common bowl.

No cracking or whoomphing noticed, or other red flags noticed where we were at.

Ski pole column tests were pretty solid.

Wind affected on the upper slopes near the ridge in the common bowl – in the
form of a soft wind slabiness.

North facing upper sections were scoured to a rain crust of sorts up near the
ridge and in patches lower into the bowl until treeline. Otherwise nice snow,
especially in the trees.
