Went to tincan trees sunday after feeling like I was missing out . . .
This was the thinnest snowpack I’ve ever seen at this location, even with all
the new snow. There were over-head alder and willow jungles in places that I
didn’t even know had alders! While the new snow was super-nice, the Colorado
style uberfluff was so light I was still skiing on the bushes and grass and
could still feel all the old crunchy crusty base. We need three more feet!
