Observation: Turnagain

We traveled up the regular uptrack and dug a few snow pits at 2000′. Low propagation propensity, fair structure, and low fracture initiation. Several layers of buried surface hoar found at 5cm and 40cm from surface. Otherwise new precip forms found near the top, going down to decomposing and fragmented particles.

At 2200′ we found wind loading on the SW aspect.

On the drive back North we observed a possible glide release on Penguin Ridge SW aspect.
