Route & General Observations

Standard up route to the upper portion of hippy bowl. We descended hippy bowl, traversed back to the uptrack then descended one of the lower south facing alder slopes to the creek. Generally 2-3 inches of low density snow on a variety of firm subsurfaces. Light south winds were slightly loading north aspects on the ridge, otherwise no wind effect or signs of instability in our travels. Variable subsurface, generally fun skiing with just enough ice patches around to keep you on your toes.
