Route & General Observations

I thought the other day was deep…
A few laps through Tincan Trees.
Less than 1” overnight snow accumulation, evident from skin track.
Overcast skies and S-1 precip starting at 10:30am, tapering off as a blue hole opened up around 1pm.
In general, handpits in protected areas failed with easy/moderate force about 40cm down, and handpits in wind exposed areas failed on isolation within the top 50cms, where stiffer new snow overlaid less dense recent snow.
Wind ripples seen from afar on the common bowl.
Recent natural slab release on Seattle ridge.
