Partly cloudy trending to cloudy by mid afternoon
Mostly calm winds with gusts up to 25mph
Light snow above 2500'

Snow surface

1000' Trace of new snow
New snow totals gradually building in depth where we found 8-16" of new snow at 3400'
Areas in the alpine had wind effected new snow - sometimes 2-3" thick wind crust

Snowpack

3200' SW aspect, 32< slope
HS 132cm
CT11 failed 40cm from surface on a density change within new snow
ECTX
12/9 rain layer was 65cm from surface and moist

Testpit 2:
3200', SW aspect, 30<slope
HS 95cm
ECTP20, failed 20cm from the ground on a facet crust interface (from veterans day)
