Weather

Calm wind, partly cloudy skies, temps in the mid 20s*F

Snow surface

10cm of low density snow over a pronounced crust below 2000ft. The crust was breakable at all elevation but at the very bottom of Tincan. Ski quality above 2000 ft: excellent.

Snowpack

Dug a single snowpit 2700 ft, HS=210cm, slope=25, on west aspect. Found buried surface hoar from the new years storm cycle 60 cm from surface. ECTX. Column broke (no propagation) after extreme forced was used outside of test parameters.
