AVI was remotely triggered on an adjacent slope to the one we were skiing when the 3rd skier went. Crown was at 1900’ at the top break in slope and where it appeared pillowed. Slope released adjacent to ski tracks. It appeared it ran on buried surface hoar on top of the old snow surface crust. We were pretty surprised at how much energy and how far it ran through trees.
