Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

Cloudy with some patches of blue sky, could feel the cold and drier air around 3.

Snow surface

Didn't see any wind effect.

Snowpack

Hand pits didn't reveal much other than the new snow had some bonding to the old surface. With force you could get it to sheer off in areas that the old surface was slick. New snow wasn't that consolidated at and below tree line.
