No signs of instability on our tour today

Weather

Overcast. Temps in the upper 30's F at the parking lot and upper 20's on the Ridge.
Winds calm.

Snow surface

New snow covering old tracks:
1-2" of wet snow 1,500-2,500'
2-3" of damp snow above 2,500'

Snowpack

We dug one pit in Hippy Bowl. A slightly thin area with a snow depth of 150cm. TheLate Jan Facets sit 45 cm down and were 1-4F hardness and roughly 10cm thick. See photos below. The pack continues to gain strength.

Stability test result: ECTP 24 Sudden Collapse in Late Jan Facets.
