Winds light to moderate out of the East
Snowing on and off, less than 1” accumulation by 3pm
Overcast, intermittent valley fog

Recent Avalanches-NO
Shooting Cracks-NO
Collapsing-NO

Surface Obs
1000ft – 4” (10 cm) new snow sitting on Nov 18 crust
2000ft – 10” – 14” (25-35cm) new snow combined with Nov 20-22 snow sitting on Nov 18 crust
3000ft – 4” (10 cm) pockets of shallow wind slab sitting on Nov 18 crust

Snow Below the Surface
The new snow sitting on rain crust from early Nov/Oct snow is well bonded. Stability tests are showing
little to no results between the these two layers. The bottom of melt freeze layer sitting on the ground is
still moist at mid elevations (2500ft.)

Pit @ 2300ft – 65cm total snow depth on an SSW aspect, 35* slope,
Top 30cm – combination of new snow and settled Nov.20-22 snow sitting on top of 35cm melt freeze base
(old snow from Oct/early Nov.)
