We found 5-10cm of new snow that came down from Thursday night. Very dense and moist, skied quite nicely and covered rocks well when you’re tips weren’t being diverted by grass.
Went up the standard way up Tincan, some people had skinned from the road, but we chose to start skinning at the first bench. The snow was notably wind disturbed above tree line, but still skied nice for October.
5-10cm depending on the wind. No wind when we we're up there and didn't obtain a temperature except a 34F at parking lot.
Dense and heavy on top of a cm crust
Did a single Column Test, it was unreactive, crumbled apart incrementally.
Snow depths varied quite a bit depending on wind or sun exposure.
