Route & General Observations

8-10 inches of new snow. Saw one small skier triggered slide on a wind loaded
westerly aspect over a steep rollover in the trees at about 1900ft. Slide was
40ft wide and ran 100ft. Otherwise great skiing in the trees, but snow was wind
affected above treeline. Dug pit at 2200ft, west aspect, 33 degree slope. Pit
was 120cm deep. 30cm of new snow (fist)30 cm of older snow (fist)60cm of even
older snow (fist)CT9Q3@30cm broke at new/old interface. CT17Q3@60cm, skied
slope. Noticed what I think is a rain crust at 120cm.
