Route & General Observations

Went to the Helipad on Tin Can today with 7 other people and skied the nose
grove staying away from the Kitchen wall due to a lack of trust in stability
found the powder mored then good enough for a second run, and then on the way
out we went for the low point between the CFR nose and Jerome dome and as the
first skier started in the whole area collapsed causing every thing from Jerome
dome up to the CFR nose and then down along the lower CFR cornice to the bottom
point of the cornice to rip to the ground in a continuous line and it settled
all the way up to the top of the Kitchen wall and caused it to rip out also to
the ground amd pretty much the full area as well. I’m glad to say that the only
person involved in the slide rode it on top all the way down and came out wth
no injury and with out losing any gear.
