Route & General Observations

Skinned alternate route up Tin Can from Turnagain Pass rest area to avoid high angle terrain in trees of Tin Can proper. Mixed snow/rain throughout the morning consolidating into a storm slab. Snow bombs falling from trees filling existing skin track to at least 2,000 ft. We turned around at approx 2,000 ft due to warming temperatures.
