Location: Thousand Dollar Run, Ridge below North Face of Hatch Peak
After first bend in road above gate, dropped to creek and ascended route from the bottom up. Snowpack very wind affected with supportable crust, sastrugi and icy surfaces. Estimated six inches of snow on Monday, 2/22, and significant wind events on Wednesday, 2/24, with gusts to 50 mph and early this morning, Thursday, 2/25, with gusts to 60 mph at Marmot Wx station.
