Weather

Around 11 AM when we began skiing, it was overcast, flat light, and snowing. By the time we got to the top of Hatch, most of the clouds had cleared, but there was a persistent moderate SE wind.

Snow surface

6-8” of new snow with low moisture content.

Snowpack

Dug a quick pit at the top of thousand dollar run on a NW aspect, ~4500 ft, resulting in ECTPV. Decided not to venture into steeper terrain.
