Snow surface

A wonderful spring mix of snow surface conditions (and lack of) observed. SF Campbell Creek/Powerline valley was mostly wind board and a surface 5cm thick melt-freeze crust between the glades. Bare ground and wind board galore in the alpine.

Dug a quick CT and ECT in two separate spots below the summit ridge of The Wedge on a loaded north aspect, no notable results. Snowpack structure in the alpine consisted of ~30cm of advanced facets on the ground with varying thickness of hard wind slab on top.
